FEARLESS SPEECH

Head to Odessa this Friday for FEARLESS SPEECH, a show of new paintings by local artists John Yablonski and Robin Savage.
The panel discussion on ART & POLITICS will begin at 7pm. The panel will include Richard Lou (chair of U of M Dept of Art), David McCarthy (Rhodes College's contemporary art historian) and Adrian Duran (art historian at MCA).
The conversation will center around the proposition put forth in a recent issue of Artforum, which stated that, following the economic events of the previous few months, "the framing context within which any artistic endeavor is to be judged is radically changed."
Enjoy this lively conversation, some drinks, and a show of new art work.
