Friday This Week....Thursday Next

So trolley night is upon us again.  Friday-FRiday-FRIDAY!  Don't miss Hamlett's opening at the Power House, and from what I've heard, the show at Jay Etkin is worth checking out.

Look out for a dude selling VINI t-shirts outta the back of a truck.  That'd be me.  I have some cool Memphis shirts including a sweet vector rendering of the old Sears Crosstown building.  

And the new mini/monthly Cooper Young Fest is supposed to be going down next Thursday, featuring art, music, and open late stores.

The word on the street (according to mymidtownmemphis at least) is that Artists on Central is moving their monthly opening receptions from the first Friday to the first Thursday, and "the sidewalks and streets will be filled with the sound of music."  As corny as that sounds, it should make for a nice walk through the neighborhood.
